Ethan's first visit to Martin Mere

It was a cold but dry day and we managed to get as far as the swan link hide. I don't think Ethan was too impressed with his first outing to see the swans, in fact he slept through the whole visit.

Malta with Simon, Melanie and Lewis

Congratulations to Simon, Melanie and Lewis and thanks for a lovely day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Just a few photos until I have time to sift through the other 500!
After many setbacks we finally managed to meet Simon and Melanie for their wedding at the Hilton Hotel, Portomaso St Julians, Malta.
Below is Valletta taken from the air - the wedding was originally planned for the registry office here but was then moved to the Hilton.

The tower just visible in the centre of this photo is right next to the Hilton.

Although the sun was out and it was very hot it was also very windy!!

Forest Shield Bug (Pentatomidae family)

Look what we found in our kitchen today after bringing in the windfall apples! Apparently they are a quite common garden pest, they are sap feeders and like oak, fruit and nut trees. Well this one didn't get back to our apple tree or the raspberry bushes!!!
