Walking the dog!

Sheeba and I needed exercise and the sky looked lovely although the rain and thunder (Sheeba can always hear that before us!) was never far away. I decided to take camera with us and this is where we went -
Shevi Moor looking towards Standish or the Forresters for those of you who only know directions via the pub network.

Shevi Moor looking towards the Hesketh, junction with Southwhiteacre and Whiteacre.

A5209 looking towards the M6.

This is the top of the A5209 looking towards Standish.

Turning right towards Shevington as you walk over the m'way bridge there are marvellous views up to Standish. In the distance you can just see St Wilfrid's Church spire.

Looking the other way over the bridge towards the m'way is the dual carriageway. the central geen area is where the road was intended to continue as a bypass but was never completed.

We then carried on around the fields and back to these steps on the way back home.
