Today we had a ride to Crosby to see the Antony Gormley men. There are 100 in all spaced out across the shore. When we first arrived we couldn't see any of them and thought we were in the wrong place but as the tide went out they started to appear. You may be able to read the following if you click on it to enlarge it, it is quite interesting. The men should have been removed to a new resting place in November 2006 but there was a huge public outcry and as yet they remain in Crosby.
It was very refreshing to find somewhere that you can go to by car and not be charged for parking - well done Sefton.
Number 21 of the 100. They are quite graphic and even the seaweed seems to be growing in all the correct places!
H M Coastguards seem to be running short on boats!

Love the one with the wind turbines... they were in London last year but I couldn't get any nice pix of them at all. Like the seaweed effect.
