Photography course with Mark Carwardine

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to attend a photography workshop at Martin Mere led by Mark Carwardine.  He was fantastic, we had talks, practical session and a critique, we certainly didn't have time to get bored.  For the practical session we took photos with the emphasis on reflections - not just of the ducks but colours from the background i.e. shrubbery and people etc.  For the critique we were invited to show 3 photos and seeing some of the others it was a 'cringe' moment for me but I was complimented on 2 of mine - a wren and swan so that made my day!!

Dunsop Bridge

Last week a group of us managed a lovely walk around Dunsop Bridge.  It was very cold at first but after a few miles we soon warmed up and sat and enjoyed a picnic lunch.

The scenery was fabulous

At one point we had an audience and then they even brought their friends to have a laugh at us.

Back through the village to the car but we couldn't miss the Puddleducks village shop and post office!
