Bees, dark chocolate, raisins and little dogs don't mix!!

This is Poppy, she's been getting up to all sorts of michief lately

She goes around the garden with nose to the ground searhcing out any bees or wasps.  She's had a nasty reaction to a sting and had bumps form her nose to the tip of her tail.

This is what was left after she emptied a bag, she managed to chew open a plastic container and eat half of the raisins - another trip to the vets.  Sadly she didn't learn her lesson as the next week she went exploring again and found some chocolate!

Spring has finally sprung!!

It was lovely last weekend to walk around Martin Mere and finally see Spring!  The daffs are in full bloom, a lot of the residents have mating on their mind, the coots are sitting on eggs and the Ne Ne's are already caring for their offspring.  The Whooper swans have all now returned to Iceland, the water levels have been lowered on the Mere and the summer birds are coming in.
