Martin Mere and the WOW factor! The new WOW area has finally opened with lots of new exhibits a few of which can be seen below.

The avocets are beautiful, it's the first time I've managed to get so close to any

Bees, dark chocolate, raisins and little dogs don't mix!!



This is Poppy, she's been getting up to all sorts of michief lately



She goes around the garden with nose to the ground searhcing out any bees or wasps.  She's had a nasty reaction to a sting and had bumps form her nose to the tip of her tail. 

This is what was left after she emptied a bag, she managed to chew open a plastic container and eat half of the raisins - another trip to the vets.  Sadly she didn't learn her lesson as the next week she went exploring again and found some chocolate!
