In the evening we went in search of the sun then later when the boys were in bed we went out on foot to the m'way bridge to experiment with different exposures - think I need a bit more practice yet. Fortunately we didn't get booked for loitering!
These next 2 photos were taken from the top of Parbold Hill - one the obvious sunset and the other looking in the opposite direction toward the Heinz factory and the Gathurst viaduct.

Glad you enjoyed the visit. Am sure when you look at your photos they will be brill (ie better than mine!) At least I now know that I need / want a new lens and remote control - thanks for allowing me to practice with yours. J xx
